It all starts with Family…

The Harrison Football Hall of Fame created The Troilo Scholarship.

We are honored to present this award in the Troilo Family name.  They are synonymous with Harrison Football and both Art Troilo Sr. and Art Jr. were Harrison High School and Westchester County Hall of Fame Players and Coaches that helped build this special winning culture. The Troilo name has now been connected to the program for nine consecutive decades spanning three generations!  As players they were both considered outstanding leaders and among the most accomplished athletes in Harrison history. Both went on to play college football at Syracuse and Fordham, where they had successful four year careers. As coaches they have won multiple state, section and league championships and been awarded and highly recognized among the very best coaches in the New York state football history.  Art Troilo Sr. & Art Troilo Jr.  have combined for almost 300 Husky victories and have coached over 3000 players who all have the utmost respect for them…

They gave us their time, commitment and they taught us all the importance of setting goals, having a plan and high values while always working hard believing in ourselves and our teammates. These valuable skills helped  mold us all to who we are today.  We were more then a football team, we are an extended reflection of the Troilo Football family and we are so grateful to have had Karen, Art Sr. & Art Jr.  as part of  our own life story.

The Troilo Scholarship is given to a graduating senior that is selected by The Hall of Fame Board each year, of which Art Jr. is the founding member, and the current Harrison Football coaching staff. The criteria for the selection of the recipient of the Annual Scholarship is to identify someone that demonstrates excellent character, leadership skills and high academic achievement. We also focus on someone that the community respects as the future role model for both our youth & alumni who love Harrison Football.
